Copenhagen

Oh Copenhagen, what can I say that can capture the time we shared together? This trip was apart of my Masters program, where I was able to study abroad in the capital of Denmark. Contrary to almost every trip I’ve ever taken, my husband Stefan was not accompanying me. Although I missed him dearly, this opportunity allowed me to grow and explore a city all by myself. I ate a three Michelin Star restaurant Geranium alone (I actually ate at most restaurants alone for the start of the trip), I walked the streets by myself, taking in the beautiful European architecture and day dreaming about living there. Even though I was miles away from home, Copenhagen felt strangely familiar. I was so humbled by the entire experience, and feel like Copenhagen will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope to return soon
